How can you explain the difference between 1980 and 2008?
In 1980, both men and women took less time than men and women in 2008.
We suspect this is true because people in the past were healthier than people now.
Another reason could be that people do not practice as regularly as people in the past.

What activity are they involved in?
They are involved in marathon running.
In what ways are Mila and Vic different?
While Mila is a professional, Vic only tries it to be healthy.
when are you proud of something?
when you feel special about something good that you do
Mr Jaramillo feels proud of his students because they are intelligent.

spare time activity =activity for relaxing
She used to feel very proud. = She doesn't feel special anymore.

I play soccer and I run because I think I can stay healthy this way.
I take energy drinks with taurine which produces cancer in the long run.
