  • WHEN GIVING RESPONSES TO THE QUESTIONS IN THE BOOK, YOU SHOULD USE COMPOUND SENTENCES AT LEAST.


What is coordination?
To coordinate a sentence means to use 2 independent clauses together in that sentence.
There are 3 methods
Compound Sentences
1a. With a Coordinator (FAN BOYS: for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so)


I went to a party

I needed to relax.


2b. With a Conjunctive Adverb
I went to a party; indeed, i needed to relax .


I went to a party


; indeed ,


I needed to relax.

3c. With a Semicolon
I went to a party ; I needed to relax.
