2. To restrain from taking a tour (which are usually hectic) if you are experienced; otherwise, take a tour and enjoy making friends
3. To stay in a Bed and Breakfast. They are cheap, you can meet interesting people , and they provide breakfast.
4. Wear a money belt around your waist for safety.
5. Learn the language, history , and customs of the people you are visiting.
