There are two types of conditionals
Real
Unreal
Real because they refer to something that can really happen in reality.
Unreal because you imagine something different to reality.
There are 3 types of Real Conditionals
condition result
1. past real conditional (past/past) = (past habitual conditional)
If I was on vacation, I used to go to the beach.
If she was tired, she would take a nap.
2. present real conditional (present/present) = the zero conditional
If/ Whenever I have vacation, I travel abroad.
3. future real conditional (present/future) = the first conditional
If you study, you will pass the course.
There are 3 types of Unreal Conditionals

1. present unreal conditional (past/would do) = (the 2nd conditional)
If I were on vacation, I would go to the beach.

(I am not on vacation) (I can not go to the beach)
If she were tired, she would take a nap.
(she is not tired now) (she doesn't need to take a nap)
2. past unreal conditional (past participle/would have done) = (the 3rd cond.)
If I had been on vacation last month, I would have gone to the beach.

3. future unreal conditional (present/future)

3. mixed conditionals
If I were more organized, I would have gotten the scholarship.

If I had studied for the exam, I would be happy in this moment.

(I didn't study for the exam) (I am not happy now)
I wish I had money. = If only I had money.
Only If you study hard, you will pass. (only that condition will provide that result)
Only If you studied hard, you would pass.
Only If you had studied hard, you would have passed.
Only If you study hard, you will pass. (only that condition will provide that result)
Even if you study hard, you won't pass. (that condition is not enough to provide that result)
Unless you study hard, you will repeat. (this condition is necessary to get that result)
