s2: Well, my hometown is Lima. It is the cap……
s1: Oh! me, too. Lima is my hometown, too. What is our city like?
s2: It is big.
It is a big city.
It has interesting places to visit.
s1: That’s right! For example, there are interesting shopping centers, cinemas, ___, … , ___, and ________.
People in Lima feel unsafe.


Diana: My hometown is Lima. Lima is big, but it is very unsafe. People feel like that.  I like the parks, eh, the restaurants , the main square (plaza de armas) , and the Abancay ave.
Abancay Ave has typical old colonial buildings.


Luis Angel: Uh, my hometown is Lima, Peru, and I live in San Miguel District . There are many pre inca ruins (huacas) . The most popular shopping center in this district is the San Miguel Shopping Mall. In conclusion, these are the most important facts.


What important landmarks can you mention?
Well, we have the following:  Plaza San Miguel,
The Catacombs, the National Zoo, The Government Palace, The Cathedral, the museums, etc,
big buildings: The civic Center, The Interbank Leaning Tower, The Westin Hotel, etc.

s2: I go to uh the cinema , the theater, cafes and many other places.
s1: How often do you go there?
s2: I go to the cinema once a week , and to the theater once a month, and to cafes twice a month.
s1: Which places do your parents go to?
s2: They go to the cinema, too, and to the usual places like parks, supermarkets, banks , etc. I do not know exactly! Unfortunately, I do not live with them.
