Christmas takes place on December 25th every year. People in Peru are very religious and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

Families usually get together for dinner. They serve turkey, pork , or chicken. There is also champagne, a Christmas bun, chocolate beverages, and salads.

Before you start eating dinner, the head of the family, the father or the mother pray to thank God for sending Jesus Christ. They also sing Christmas carols. …

During dinner, people talk and laugh, and share stories.
